Bi-color angel with red orange spots near the face

I bought the angel from Tropi-quatics few days ago and was told its eating rods, but it has eaten anything I have thrown in my quarantine tank. It has now developed these spots and am wondering if it's an external parasite that I should treat with Prazipro ?

It's my first time with this fish so not sure how difficult they are. Also I have one chromis in the qt with it.

Any ideas !

It depends on what you mean by "spots." Do the spots look like pieces of salt, or are they bigger/lumpier? Could be ich if salt-like or could be flukes if they are bigger. Angels are prone to flukes. Need pics

They were red orangish spots, unfortunately fish did not make it ....SMH

Sounds like open sores probably died of secondary infection not much u could of done there r meds but idk where even to get em

Yea I checked online to see if any help videos and stuff but did not find much. I should have made the store feed the fish in front of me but it was my fault as I went in there in a rush and skipped the usual routine.
