Black reef sand

I'm transferring my 75 gal mixed reef into a 125 and I was thinking about putting in the black reef sand. Has anyone used this and do you recommend it?

I've used Estes brand marine sand and also the Carib-Sea brand. Estes is a bit darker and the grains are sugar sized; Carib-Sea had a Hawaiian Black that is a touch lighter. I think the colors of the livestock "pop" well against the dark sand.

If you like the look go for it,i had a RSM34 with black sand and loved it.

I have the Carib Sea Hawaiin Black, I love it, but be prepared you actually have to stir it up more often than white to keep it looking good.
