Blue Midas Blenny

walt saw that when I googled... the one from DD that u got me was darker... and it was also called a true blue.. looking for a pic but can't find one

This was the only pic of a blue midas that I could find that was clear.

We could be wrong but we are pretty sure it is a true African Blue Midas Blenny as opposed to the stress dark blenny. This blenny has a light and bright translucent blue body as opposed to the dark and dull purple/black of the stressed blenny. Also, the fish does not have the light blotches on its body like stressed Blennies have.

The fish is gorgeous!

I trust you guys. I posted this thread to show off the new guy. I wasn't expecting a blenny conspiracy to develop lol. I'll keep you posted on it's coloration.

Yeah no reason not to trust u guys. It was just an observation I made since mine looked identical to his pic. For him I hope it's a true blue bc they are awesome
