Blue Throat in a reef tank?

Blue Throat Triggerfish owners, how good are they in a reef tank? Do they eat clams?

They are considered generally reef safe compared to other triggers. I had one and never touched my inverts. However, like any fish, it depends on the individual.

Do you guys know what's good price for male?

I have two triggers (Niger & Picasso) and neither touches coral or hermit crabs. The biggest problem is that both of them are constantly taking big mouthfuls of gravel off of the bottom of the tank and then crop dusting everything. I have to blow off all of my corals almost daily. It's pretty funny though, so it's worth it. I'd go for it if I were you. My triggers are my favorite fish.

Depending on size ive seen from 45$ to 65$

I have one, and my friend has one. You shouldn't have any problems...

I have one as well and have no issues with him, he lets my cleaner shrimp clean him and he's a model tank mate. I got him full size almost he's about 8 inches and I paid $85 for him.
