I'm thinking about getting a Blue Throat Trigger, 2 to 3 months from now. Does anyone here own one?

i had one it was the greatest a pair is cool too if u have the room never had any issues with the reef everything was good for me

i have a blue jaw and a niger trigger in my tank they are pretty awesome. i like my big niger trigger a little more than my blue jaw because of his streamers. but they are both awesome.

Thank you. I have a 220g. The smallest fish in the tank is the firefish, would he be ok with a Blue Throat? And how much for a pair of Blue Throats?

The blue throats are reef safe... I had a M n FM pair for over a year in a mixed reef and I never seen them mess with any fish... very docile. The males are more expensive then the Females... mainly because the males have better color.
A med. pair should go for 120 to 150..

We have a blue jaw in our 150. A model citizen and quite entertaining. They are jumpers though, so make sure you have a lid or canopy of some sort.

I have one, one of my favorite triggers out there. Mine is very particular about food, wont eat any prepared foods, takes rods but mainly wants to eat mysis. Find the Hawaii blue jaws because they are the most vibrant color wise.

I had a blue jaw once. They are ***** cats. Mine used to sleep under a barnacle cluster in the front corner of my tank. I bought a lawn mower blenny who decided that the barnacle cluster was his. The blue jaw freaked, wandered around the back of the tank, quit eating and died.

I was thinking you wanted a pair of crosshatch triggersat first, I was going to say "have you seen what a pair of those go for?" but nevermind, two totally different fish.

I have a blue jaw for sale eats like a pig. Pm if intetested. It's never been in a reef tank but is very docile it comes up to the top and lets me pet it sometimes I feed it mussels and other prepared foods
