Bristletooth Tomini Tang

my square tail bristle tooth is also constantly at it .. :) they take a grain chew it and spit it back haha
 
Does it fill it's mouth with sand and than spits it out? I've had others tangs and I never saw that. Just found it interesting.
 
all three of my tangs do this , tomini , tenneti , and white tail . i had left over bryopsis in sand bed , gone and they keep it clean now :)
