Bristletooth Tomini Tang

My Tomini thinks he's a sand cleaning goby.
Who else has a Tang that cleans sand?

My Yellow eye kole tang often grazes the sand as well. trying to get micro algae that's growing I think.

my square tail bristle tooth is also constantly at it .. they take a grain chew it and spit it back haha

My yellow n purple tang do the same.

Does it fill it's mouth with sand and than spits it out? I've had others tangs and I never saw that. Just found it interesting.

all three of my tangs do this , tomini , tenneti , and white tail . i had left over bryopsis in sand bed , gone and they keep it clean now

Not all the time but I figure it was normal lol
