Broken ballast on current nova extreme T 5

Guys. I need a hand. My current Nova now has 2 lights that don't work. I think the ballasts are broken but not sure and have no idea what to do. Can anyone help me out. I called a few fish stores but they won't fix. I'm not do great with electrical stuff and have no idea how to fix this. Any help would be useful.

are the 2 bulbs ones right next to each other cuz I just had that problem and it was just one of the two bulbs that went bad and caused the other to not work

also and I thought it was a ballast, try to take a couple of bulbs that you know work and put them in there before you go and buy a ballast you might not need

I had to replace a ballast once in a Nova Extreme. It was a lot less stressful than I thought it was going to be. Open up the fixture, and snip out the bad ballast and splice in the new one. The wires will be the same colors so just match them up. as long as you can splice wires then you'll be okay.
