Broken chiller

I bought a used 1/3 hp JBJ arctica chiller. Long story short, I've been getting shocked when I stick my arm in the tank. I unplugged everything and plugged them in one at a time and found out it's from the chiller. I'd like to save it if I can.... Anyone know how I fix it?

Thanks in advance.

It's not easy to find where stray voltage is coming from unless you have a schematic and can follow it.

I had a korilia pump that uses to shock me and I couldn't find from where and I repair electronics for work...lol

Well gugs... would you be able to repair it if I can't figure it out? Lol

Ok. So I took it apart and found this. If i fix the leak will that fix the stray voltage? And how do I fix the leak?

Chances are that if it leaked onto the board or any of the exposed electronics you will still get stray voltage. But you can always give it a try

i cant see a picture but thats probably it
That's weird. The picture is gone. But anyway. I took it apart and fixed the leak and ran the chiller with vinegar and h2o in a bucket. I am no longer feeling a shock. But then again, it wasn't running in saltwater.

The saltwater shouldn't make a difference just plug something else with it in case it shocks on a load incrase
