Building a 40 Breeder sump

I would like to build my own sump using a 40 breeder and have a few questions. Where can I get glass cut in the west suburb's? I want to have 3 sections; 1) Skimmer, 2) refuge/chaeto, 3) return pump/heater. Any suggestions on what the dimensions should be would be appreciated.

ACE can cut glass, but they may not have quarter inch glass. If they don't have it, Acrylic will work as well.
The dimensions depends on the footprints of the skimmer and return pump. But basically, you wanna keep those two sections as small as possible.
Also, it may not be a good idea to put heaters in the return section.
