As some of you may know my dad entered into this hobby shortly after I did. I was just by his place and we just finished setting up a 5 Stage BRS RODI in his basement. We realized that with all the space he has down there we should set up a big frag tank. Where the heck do you find those giant plastic tubs people use? the ones that are only like 8 inches deep but several feet long and wide. Is it easier if we just use acrylic? We were thinking of building a big wooden stand / table with PVC plumbed to the top on all sides with nozzels for flow, cover the entire bottom of the tub in sand and live rock then put egg crate over top and mount a big ol metal halide above. Anyone have experience with this?
