bulkhead/plumbing question

I got my bulkheads from Glass-holes and am plumbing the tank tomorrow. What side of the glass does the gasket go on? Any other tips on getting a leak free system would be great. Have the weekend to move my house and the tank across town. I'm sure I'll be posting more questions. The arrival of the TEK elite light today was kinda surreal!
 
The gasket goes on the wet side. Hand tightening should be fine or a small twist with a wrench is fine. Try not to over tighten.
