Burnt out t5 ballast.

Has anyone ever done a swap on a ballast?
These are 54w x 4 bulb fixture. Ive read that silvania ballast can be used
This is a tek elite fixture. Not fancy by any means but i would like for the bulbs to fireup as theyre supposed to.


Anybody done this?

I've changed a ton of them for a living. usually have to match the type of bulbs and number of bulbs to the ballest. then follow the diagram given

Thats what i figured. On the forums they say not to use the workhorse as that was a fault tek had. Some suggested using universal or silvania.
But im stuck on getting shunted or non shunted or instant fire or triad...if i dont get nstant start then i have to reqire everything.

There was a user who swapped out the ballast for a dimmable ballast and that worked out aswell.
