Camera settings?? newbie

I will be borrowing a Canon EOS 20D today and thought i would take some photos of my tank while i have it. What are some good settings to use before i start capturing?

tank lights on, room lights off (no sunlight). Use a tripod, take a picture of your sand or a white card in the tank. go to P or M mode and go into the menu for white balance. set to CUSTOM and then select the white picture you took. Then shoot as square to the glass as you can on a tripod (with the timer or a remote if possible). No flash. Then post on chicagoreefs.com or our facebook page

Thank you, I already took them but i will borrow the camera again and try again with those settings.

I just shoot my sand. You can even buy various wb card kits but I've been happy with my effort: result ratio thus far
