Im on the quest for coffee, how does this look? Is it good looking skimmate?

Looks like it's pulling a bit wet, I don't think it's a bad thing (in fact I've read it's better), just requires emptying of the cup more frequently.

Yeah, looks wet. Like skyon said, not a bad thing, but I hate rinsing my cup, so I prefer to collect black sludge and empty once per week.

Its really slowed down bunches, I don't really have any bioload so the cup takes a long time to fill. The bubble stack is a thing of beauty though, like the head on a good microbrew. But darker tan.

Smelling it is the real test. If you don't want to barf, it's not dark enough. Ha!

My 75 didn't have a skimmer, so this may be a dumb question, but the more fish in the tank the more the thing will pull, correct? And why does the bubble stack disappear when I feed?

Lot's of food has oils and vitamins like selco/selcon that decrease the skimmers bubbles, usually doesn't last long, it's normal.
