Chicago store that stocks MP-10

I'll probably get slammed for this but I got my brand new mp10 wes on eBay for $200 shipped. You can find a seller that allows you to make an offer and start with about $170. Then go to $180 (and so on) and they'll probably agree to $200. I got it on the first try. Some will try to tell you the warranty won't apply then, but that's bunk. Might want to give it a try.

Warranty is valid for 12 months from MANUFACTURE date, regardless if they are an authorized reseller or not. The benefit to buying legit from an authorized source is 12 months warranty from date of purchase, and a 2nd source for assistance under warranty.

I respectfully disagree beard. When I contacted them they confirmed my unit was fully covered from the date of purchase as long as I registered it within 30 days. (The mfr date was only about a month prior anyway for me) I even got the free Coral mag subscription. It's the seller who risks their distributor status by cutting the minimum price. Besides, I saved $85 and I'm a risk taker. ;)

Yep, Sparky and I have been PMing. But Bollingbrook is way down there. :dontknow:

My time does not need to be worth that much to make it cheaper to just buy one new.

I understand how you feel. I think of a good deal being something competitively priced and convenient. I guess that stems from me being really lazy sometimes. lol

They actually aren't, I work with Ecotech(we supply all their labeling etc) and have talked to them about all their stuff when we have been on the phone, they can not control what places sell the pumps for, what the agreement is for is the minimum advertised price. There is nothing in their contracts to keep them from negotiating with people however it is rarely done because they know everyone else is selling it for the same price.

good point Brian. I should have included the word "potentially" before "risks". I don't know how they deal with their distributors, but a manufacturer could cut someone off for undercutting prices. I just know they have awesome customer service and I would be surprised if they tried to scam their way out of warranty repairs.
