I doubt I'm the only Eastern Orthodox who just celebrated Pascha (Easter) yesterday, so had to share the joy!

Christ is Risen!

Cristo è risorto!
Le Christ est ressuscité!
Hristos a înviat!

Amen...i wish everyone could get that God so loved the earth that he gave his only son

Firstmost God is so just that he cannot change his own rules .. that would make him unjust so it breaks down like this

1) all sin has to a price to pay...(hence the sacrifices) god must looses some thing he loves for penance for making man and man comitting sins

2)when man made too many sins that the sacrifice was too great that animals could not cover the sin justly he had to give a greater cost (His Son)

3)God Did not intend for it to be this was ,,,we messed up in eden...

Indeed he has Risen ...Holy Holy Holy....

Amen brother, we all have a price to pay, but not alot of folks are going to understand this. The worldly veiw of religion is that everyone thinks we are better than them which is not true. We follow what the bible teaches us and yes there are a handful of people that take the bible to the extreme and point the finger. Which make religion and christain look bad. This thread is cool... Glad you posted this Yogoshio
 
you know Joel Osteen once said even if you dont even belive in god and just do what the bible says it will guarenteed change your life for the better ... ok lets say your boss has to make a choice who to trust running a company with his 19 year old daughter while hes away ... who is he going to trust ... the guy that never brags about women hes slept with...nevercheats on his wife come to work ontime and follows rules.... or the guy that brags about stipclubs...and getting drunk......see its all perspective... and the bible will always give the right perspective...about people who point fingers .. jesus said "Let he who is without sin cast the first stone" i once asked my wifes pastor a question i said i was born catholic ...but his church was baptist... i said how do i know who is right??? he said dave .. 3 people are riding on a bus ..1 person likes chocolate ice cream..the other likes strawberry icecream......and yet another likes vinallia icecream....it dosent matter the flavor of the ice cream.....whats important is they all like icecream....i hope you love icecream as much as me:)

so i used to want to try to change people to belive ... but then i realized Jesus said "No one can come to Me, unless the Father who sent Me draw him" and then also the parable of the soil..you can have good seed but unless the ground is right nothing will happen ... the seed (faith in god) the ground...(our own wicked hearts) .... so i didnt post this to try and "Convert anyone" i will leave that up to god :)

i love that on the 3rd day god created fish & coral....think about that next time you tank gaze ,,,,the master architech...artist at work :)
