Circulation pumps keep falling....

3 times now my marineland circulation pumps have fallen down overnight, and I wake up to a cloudy mess in the morning. Those blasted suction cups aren't working!!! Any other ideas as to how I can keep them secure?

I've always used pumps that had magnets to keep them secure. I've never used the kind you have but maybe you could figure out a way to glue magnets where the suction cups should be...?

I would just invest in something with magnets. I think you are always going to have that problem due to the suction cups imo. I'm sure someone is using them with great success maybe they can add in to the conversation as how they do it. Me personally don't trust suction cups at all. Tried em once, never again. MJs work great but they need to do something about those darn cups. GL

hey, you can use the glass cleaner magnet under the pump when you don't use. it will keep the pump stays still. or buy one with magnet..petmountainds.com has the koralia 550 on sale or bigger...good deal

you ncould try and make sure the slack is tight on the power chord so if it does come loose it doesnt fall to sand it will spin around prob but wont be a sand storm until you figure out something else also maybe try replacing the suction cups for a cheap temp fix i think petco / petsmart has some not sure what size u need tho

suction cups have never worked for me, not even on light duty one i tried to make one into a frag rack. Koralia's are cheap and the magnet/suction cup things one them are great. never had an issue

I agree with everone else....The Koralia powerheads are equipped with magnets and I have never had a problem.....Actually it sometimes grabs my cleaner magnet and I have to send in the grabber to get it back...LOL!

Ericthered is selling me some JBJ magnet heads. I'll throw one of my old ones in the sump and call it a day!
