clown question

hey guys i have a quick question i have a pair of clowns in my 210 and as i was staring off into the tank i noticed that my male clown was biting my rock non stop paid little attention and as halides shut off the female was doing the same the male would stop every few minutes and siezure in front of her for a bit then back to the rock in about a 4x4 area the female does it too but is quick to chase any other fish/invert including my hermits is it possible they are nesting of some sort thanks ahead of time i recently moved a big red monti that was in this space yesterday if that matters

Could be that they are about to breed and claiming a space for their own.

They sound like they are cleaning a site to make a nest. My start doing that a couple of days before they actually spawn.

If both are head down cleaning they will lay soon.

this is sweet news not that i plan on trying to raise them i dont have any other tanks but thats good news lol thanks evryone ill keep pics posted if i find anything
