co2 usage???

I went through a 5lb tank in four months on cal reactor. Is this normal or do you think I have a leak

I don't have very much experience with calcium reactors, but I used co2 in my FW planted tank and used to get roughly 4 months.

If you want to check for leaks, take some water and a little dish soap, mix it really good and then brush it around every fitting. Look for bubbles forming. Best way to check for leaks.

i went through a 20ib tank every year. i had a heavy sps loaded tank.

You may have a leak. Check all your fittings with s soap and water solution!

Bobby how big is your tank and how is it stocked. From my readings most guys say they get at least 6 months out of theirs, but every tank is different. Your supplier could have shorted you too, who knows.
