Coral Suvival

Ok I was curious if anyone here who does not dose vodka/vinegar has traded/sold whatever coral to someone who does. I would say my tank is on the higher nutrient side, and zoas I sold to someone melted. To me it seems the change to an immaculately clean water tank with vodka dosing and bio balls may have shocked the zoas. He has plenty of z/p's and high end ones like the one I sold---so this is a head scratcher to me. He is a good guy so I want to replace the frag but I want to see frags I grew continue to be enjoyed.

Yes most probably that's the case .. Happens like you said .. Higher nutrient to zero nutrient water will affect zoas and palys very badly and they melt especially if kept in high light. If the lighting is lower then they continue to shrivel and decrease in size before they completely disappear.

All this is strictly IMO though
