I had my phosphates checked last night on my fowlr and they are about 2.50. I plan on transferring corals to it soon. Will corals tolerate that level of phosphates?
No stony coral will tolerate levels that high. Soft corals would probably be fine. Phosphate hinders the calcification of new skeleton growth, so high levels and stoney corals will either be stunted or die. I had problems keeping euphyllia when phos reached 0.30.
