Corals are heading south..

i had the same thing happen to me, and realized my salt level was to high, testing showed it constant. :(

question, since everybody is checking this out.... if test kits are up to 2 years old, are they just as good? if not, what would be the time frame that it needs to be changed.

oh please keep us posted with the outcome of the tank. i hope things will get better.

I know smitty asked about stray voltage have you checked for it I had the same problem and found I had voltage comming from 2 different pumps

I use those tests for Phosphates and I can tell you from experience that EXACT color is when my coral start to STN. Goto the store and buy a thing of Chemipure elite. It comes with a filter sock. Just put it in flow in sump. Get the small one because you don't want to shock the tank with a large GFO influx.
You need to address the PO4 leak. Possible overfeeding or bleed-age from rock that may not have been cured long enough.
Dry rock used to have tons of life inside it when it was harvested. All this died inside and when placed in water the nutrients from the die off start to leak.
Phosphates IME are more toxic than ammonia for stony coral and will seriously impede any an I mean ANY growth

First of all let me thank everyone again for all of the responses..I have good news on the tank

@rako..not sure how tell voltage leak..I had my hand in there cleaning out the sterilizer pump..which was completely blocked..hopefully that'll help tank!!

@bocochoco..what store carries that?

After a 42 gallon water change I tested the water

Salinity - 1.0245
Ph - 7.8 (I know it's not good i stopped dosing everything)
Nitrites - 0
Nitrates - 0
Phosphates - that tube was yellow!! :) (see previous pic for explanation)
Copper - clear as could be!! 0
Calcium - 420 (again I stopped dosing c-balance)

I will stay on the two part dosing..no more Phytochrome and feeding etc..I'll watch how much food I put in tank.

I'll keep you all posted on if this turns around the tank!

Chemi-pure elite I know is at most LFS and PETCO always has it. I wouldn't recommend it all the time since its expensive so if it works you can buy GFO and carbon in bulk from bulkreefsupply for much MUCH cheaper but to act fast I would buy the chemipure for now and see if it helps. One thing I know is that whether or not it fixes your current problem it will definitely make a difference in other areas. If you like it you should invest in a phosban reactor. I see them for cheap here a lot on dry goods for like $20
