So I just set up my bio put new sand in but LR that was already established in another tank. Will that affect my cycle time? It already has GSP, and Xenias on this rock I put in and it seems to be going strong.

Tank should be ok if the liverock didn't dry out moving it to the new system. The sand will "live" up over a couple weeks, but you should not see any significant spikes in harmful parameters in that time since the rock is already live and doing its job converting the different chemicals into nitrates. Do a 10-20% water change in a week or 2, then check parameters the next day. The xenia is a good test indicator coral of a poor health system. The GSP, well that stuff could survive a nuclear blast.

Now 1 of the scariest things I had to do was pull my biopellets out of my 12g nano and now have nothing but LR and a bag of Carbon in it. Did that last week and it seems to be fine just really worried
