Delay timer for turning off skimmer after feeding

I am looking for a way to manually turn my skimmer off, and then have It powered on again after say an hour or two.

Are there any turnkey options out there?

Question 1: Why would u want to turn your skimmer off?

Answer to you original question. Get an apex/reef keeper.

Phyto instructions says to turn off for two hours.

Anything cheaper than an apex or reefkeeper?

Or plug the skimmer in to a regular timer(like the ones we use for Xmas trees and lights).

Like the other guys said a normal timer will work as long as you feed the same time everyday. If you can afford the apex now id put the cash towards that instead

Christmas Tree timer from Home Depot or Ace...

The big question is does your skimmer pump play well after being turned off then on...

My reef octopus needle wheel pump does not...

My 2 cents...Just another reason to have high soft flow through the tank and low flow through the sump.

My sca65 plays very well. No problems at all.

So the timer you reccomend from ace and home depot has a "delayed on" feature? Really? I will go to my local ace tomorrow.
