You can pick up a 1/2 npt tap from lots of hardware stores like Ace or Sears and maybe even some big box stores. You can use a cresent wrench on the square end to turn the tap into the drilled hole. Here's one from amazon
http://www.amazon.com/-14-NPT-Carbon-Steel-Pipe/dp/B00DMBC9HG/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1427399577&sr=8-4&keywords=1/2+npt+tap

Drill bits can also be picked up singly from Ace and Sears. Or again on amazon.

Here a listing for drill bit sizes for npt taps.

If you went so far I have everything you need I just put one in my pm reactor and I believe the hole needs to be taped to a 7/8-18 that's what mine was , picked up mine from premium aquatics. I have both set ups if your ever in Bedford park .

Home Depot should have it. If u can use the drill for the hole u should be able to do the same for the tap. It's pipe threads so just don't go to deep with the tap. But they are ment to jam up and seal so if your not perfectly straight you will still be ok. Pick up Teflon tape also.

I didn't look so make sure your tap drill is for a pipe tape and not a cut tap or u will drill it to big.
