Im starting to see Stringy white/brown stuff in my fug and in my sump, ive been dosing vinegar for about 13 weeks. I have about 100 gallon system. Im dosing 54.4 ml a day.

No3 is reading zero some days a little more, po4 is 0.04 tested yesterday, changed gfo. Seems like the bottom of my gfo reactor gets the white stringy stuff.

The white stuff is most likely bacteria. If your No3 readings are zero then you need to be in maintenance mode. Carbon dosing will help lower your Po4 levels, but its primary purpose is lowering your No3 levels. I would also add that your Po4 levels are right where many would recommend you keep them at. Cut your dose in half and watch your levels, if they start to rise add a little more to your dose and watch. Once you find the dose that keeps your levels near zero that is where you want to keep it.

+1. cut down on your carbon dosing. you are feeding the bacteria too much. you will end up starving your tank.
