Does anyone have experience with auto flushing RO/DIs?

Im tires of messing around with cheap ROs. I have been looking at 150g-180gpd ROs and most give the option for Auto Flushing. It seems like a neat concept but I just dont want to pay an extra 100 bucks and have it be less reliable than the standard manual flushers. Does anybody have any thoughts?

Are you talking about the solenoids that open once an hour? I got one from brs. It's fine, does what it should. I've only noticed a slight increase in di life span after installing it.

I manually flush mine but not sure if it works...Frequent replacement of first stage filters helps the most.
