I've never had to pay full tax. Is that even legal? The price something is sold at is taxed. Being taxed on the original price doesn't make sense.

someone on CR once told me that, if it is a manufacturer discount, they are required by law to charge full tax. if its a retailer discount then they can only charge what we paid for.
but i still feel bad, for PSP and for myself. Cuz i end up paying $50+ for a 40B. thats not $1/gal, felt like i was fooled...
