don't know if I should laugh or cry

Oh man. Was it too late to grab him out? I have never seem my nem eat any of my fish although I have suspected him of a missing firefish or two back in the day.
 
Usually if the fish is sick it wont be able to get out. Ive heard stories of this and usually the eaten fish was already dying and the nem just finished the job....
Sucks....

Also. Might just be me. But that nem doesnt look to good...it looks like it spilled its zoo. And has no coloration. Also it being in the sandbed isnt a good sign.
 
It's a type of fire anemone and it lives in the sandbed. They go under it during the day and only come out in the evening & night. It's actually very healthy, been around over 2 years eating silversides, tilapia & shrimp. It's very aggressive though. The problem is that it's in a prime spot that the fish dart to if they get spooked so I think I'm going to have to relocate it to a different tank.

In that case...id cry. That was an expensive snack.

Add emperor angelfish to tilapia silveraides and shrimp eating list.
 
That sucks. It looks like a condy anemone. Which eat everything, including clowns.
