Drill Press for Tank Drilling

Check YouTube, drilling can be very expensive if you crack the tank.
Cordless drill with clutch set lite, piece of 1 x 4 with same size hole that you can clamp or tape in place, blue painters tape for back-side of glass when you drill, anything soft to put in the tank so if the glass plug falls it does not crack the other side of the tank, toilet instalation gasket to make "mote" to hold cooling water.

1 - tape or clamp 1 x 4 with the hold in spot you want to drill
2 - just get hole started using that as template - water (lots) to lubricate and cool the diamond bit
3 - once you have small grove it will hold the hole saw in place, remove 1 x 4, push wax toilet ring onto glass around the work area and add ~1/4" of water
4 - work very slow, keep glass and hole saw wet, did I say go slow? you want no heat
5 - as you get near lift and use just weight of the drill, once you see water leaking through, go lighter yet until plug comes loose, tape should keep it from falling
6 - did I say check youtube? be safe and good luck
