Dwarf Lionfish!!!

After talking with Jay today.... I want a Dwarf Lionfish now :rolleyes:

So has anyone kept one in a reef tank? If I do purchase one it will be small of course..

Thoughts please....
 
I have been contimplating a dwarf lion as well. From what I was told, they would eat my clowns and chromis as it gets bigger. Other than that I think it would be fine.
 
Unless it is well fed it will eventually eat whatever fits in its mouth, i got rid of mine....Pain in the *** to catch....wont hurt corals or hurt any other larger fish though

LOL!! Will be great if he eats my sixline.. My clown is about 4"+ easy and the rest of fish are 3+ or more..

This will have to be a small baby at 2+..
 
I think they just wouldn't like the fact that in reef tanks there is a lot of water movement and they would just get tossed around.
 
I had one for a year and they find a hiding place and dont move....except at night where they just lurk over the rocks
 
Nice Dre! I think after the 75g is fully up, I'm gonna get up the 40b w/ a lion fish, snowflake eel, etc :) following along ...

I had a snowflake eel, and he was awesome! Most of the time all you could see was his head, but at feeding time he came out for that food! Had to wear gloves cause he would miss the food and get the hand (I always wore gloves, I've heard what they can do). Had 2 leaf fish in the same tank that I could never get to eat frozen, had to find them new homes. Sweet looking fish though!
 
rw has a white ribbon eel eating frozen its in the tank with the black snowflakes pretty cool guy (as of black friday they still had it )
 
Ill trade you this adorable dwarf frozen krill eating 2" fuzzy lion that poked me with its venomous spine, which really didn't hurt as bad as i had imagined...

But no seriousy, with the way my plans are coming together I might not have room for this little guy.
