EVC 20K 250 Watt HQI Bulbs Burnt Out Quickly

Before I purchased the EVC 20K's from TB Aquatics, I read a couple people saying theirs burnt out quickly but the majority said they are great bulbs. True, if you like the look of 20K Radiums, they look beautiful but one burnt out after two weeks and the other after four, which was yesterday. I'm still waiting for EVC to replace the first one.

TB Aquatics has been trying to help me out but they won't let me exchange them with XM's because the warranty is directly with EVC.

Just a quick reminder I'm sure u know. I'll throw it out there. If you touch or get any oils from your hands it will definately shorten the life cycle of the bulb

+1 or it will POP from what I been told..

Had that happen to me when i ran MH bulbs.I would wipe them down with alcohol before i powered them up.
