Experience with Cad Lights 4 gallon Pico?

Hey Guys,

Soo I'm fininshing up my basement and the bar is done. I would like to put a Pico tank on the bar. I found a cad light 4 gallon tank that looks pretty nice.. Any one ever run this tank, and have any comments on it..

Unless you guys know of any other brands that are AIO pico tanks that come with LED's..

I considered getting this same tank. The reason I didn't was that numerous reviews said that the stock LED unit is pretty poor. All of the LED pico AIOs seem to have poor stock lighting (i.e. Fluval Spec, Aqueon Evolve). The EcoPico's LED light is supposed to be pretty decent, although it's not really an AIO.

I'm opting to just get a 25cm cube (~4g) with an AC50 and a PAR30 bulb.

I agree. All stock leds are pretty weak. I only know of one person with a cadlights tank, and he's happy with it. There are plenty of options to choose from. Nuvo, JBJ Cubey, Cadlights, microreefs, etc.

Hmm. Yeah seems like that's what most people are complaining about. Thinking about a par 30 bulb with a gooseneck clamp.

That's exactly what I'm getting as soon as Coral Compulsion gets it back in stock.

I had the 8g mini before and it was alright.... the filtration part wasn't the greatest and the light obviously sucked.
