I plan on hooking up my jbj ATO to a 10gal tank hidden in the stand and will possibly add a bit of kalk(unsure yet). The tank will be bare bottom(first try at this) and I'm using rock that was bleached to avoid any pests!! Still need to get a heater and some new salt to start it all up. Think that's about it for now.

Thanks, took me long enough to get it started. Had to re-seal the back wall. Then we laid new flooring, it was delay after delay with this tank.

Now that its full it looks amazing The the fun begin with curing your rock and the rock work formation you plan on making. At least one of those shelve pieces will look great as a centerpiece.

Been dialing in the skimmer for the past week or so. Came home the other day to this

Its making some nice foam considering all that's in the tank is a few pounds of rock curing.. can't wait to see how well it skims with an actual bioload.

Looks good! How long did the cycle take?

Not long, I never use the stuff but had to get my corals and fish out of their temp homes so I used some instant cycle (can't rember the actual name) and have been dosing stability for about a week now. Rocks were all cured for over a month and I used a sponge pad to help.

Took some pictures since pumps were off to feed corals.
Really happy with everything so far, sps are growing and coloring up like crazy. Everything was pretty brown when it went into the nuvo and I really had no idea what any of the sps would look like. So far 2 frags that I knew were encrusting montis turned into rainbow montis. Base is super blue ,polyps are bright shades of orange, yellow and green.
Other acro is encrusting to my rockwork like mad but still coloring up a bit. Anyhoo to the picures.
