I'm looking for somthing that will eat it or how can I get rid of it? I was told a Rainford goby will take care of it. Any other opinions

A good cuc will take care of it, but the mexican turbo snails seem to do the best. Good luck bro.

I have like ten hermits and 1 snail in there I'm probably gonna pick up another snail today

I had a bad outbreak awhile ago, I just picked up some more snails and few different crabs. Did my water changes and used turkey baster to blow off whatever I could.

If you do not have coral, you could do the lights out method. Kill your lights for a few days. Or change the amount of time your lights are on.

I've put two turbos and they've died. I have like 10 hermits. I have coral but I did cut down on the lights to like 5 hours a day instead of 8. I'm gonna get a turkey vaster and blow off the rocks and see of that helps

My kole tang ate all of my hair algae in a week, and it hasn't come back. My lights are on for 10 hours, and I never cut back, nor did I add a ton of extra stuff.

Idk but the turbos I have just stopped moving :-( poor things this stuffs all over my rocks I just want it gone. Any smaller fish that might help get rid of it?

Ive had it before growing on pretty much every rock. One medium sized turbo snail per 30g wiped it out completely in a week. Never saw it again.

The turbos I had where med. they did get rid of the one on the back wall of the tank but that's it. Then died :-( I use chemipure In my tank I think that contains a small amount of gfo?????

I'm getting so frustrated with this hair algae idk what to do :-( I'd like to try the lights out think but I have a few frags :-(

make sure yur mag is at 1400 or higher. If it is low that could be helping the algae grow. If yur water is right and yur tank is cycled you shouldn't have any.

I'm gonna have I go get a test kit because I don't have one and I don't wanna be running back and forth to
The lfs to get it tested

Sorry to hear that bro, it can be very annoying dealing with that stuff. If you want to do the lights out, you can place your frags in my dt during that dark period.
