Filter socks and micro bubbles

Ok so here"s the situation :

I have a 65 gallon black rubber maid as my sump , my water drains out of my display , thru my floor and into a box that has a small piece of filter floss in it , this box sits on the top of this sump and off to one side.

I have 4 -1" bulkheads that drain this water into filter socks than sit in the bottom of this rubbermaid...... I change these filter socks once a week , these socks keep the micro bubbles out of my dt , i dont really want to keep these filter socks as i want to eliminate all possibility's of nitrate factorys so to speak .... Short of making a " bubble trap " any other suggestions i can do to eliminate all these bubbles ?? I have a ton of drainage into this box as im using both 3/4" lines as drains straight down so you can imagine the amount of water coming into this box ??

I cant really move this box at all as my return pump line is directly in the center of the rubbermaid , ill keep using the socks if i have to but would like to do something better ??

Thanks

Have you tried it without the socks? I have a basement sump, and I have no issues with micro bubbles not using socks. I'm in CL too if you want to check it out.
