First fish casualty :(

Well came home to my first casualty in the tank after 7 months. :( :( :(

Yellow watchman died after 3 weeks in the tank. I have never seen him until
Today early in the morning and he was being strange swimming up and down.
Came home and two nassarius snails were sucking on him.
Think he could of just been really stressed not sure. All other fish are very active and healthy.

Really wanted it to pair up with my pistol :(. I know the pistol is still alive since there's a new mountain of sand every day in the back of the
tank.

Any one else lose ywmg randomly.

I had mine in the return-in the filter sock-would not come out of the rocks----etc etc...They seem to be hardy - but it could have just been the fish-nothing you did wrong. Maybe he never found a good comfy hiding place-as mine is under a huge rock that actually is dug out nicely. Cool fish-get another !. Sorry for your loss too.
 
I lost a yellow clown goby a couple of days ago. Had him for awhile and I don't know what happened but I found him in a filter sock in my sump. I loved its personality too. Always hanging out on my corals just watching me. I'm gonna miss it.

I feel your pain and hate when you are clueless to what happened.
 
Yah freaking sucks. I was so excited when I got a goby shrimp pair and now the shrimp lost his buddy. Going to have to pick up another one and see how he does. Hopefully aquapros will have another one soon. Blah
