Hi everyone,
My name is Mike and Ive been reefing since 2003. Like many of you guys, Ive been though many tank upgrades and downgrades. My reef tanks have ranged from 24 gallons all the way to 500 gallons. I am currently an optometry student at the Illinois College of Optometry. That's just a brief intro about me and I'm sure you will find out more as time goes on. Just want to welcome everybody to ChicagoReefs.com!!!:D

Hi,

I have been involved in saltwater set ups for 23 yrs now and love it, I was glad to find a local forum and a place to meet local members of the same hobby. I currently only have 1 tank, a 210 RR with about 300 lbs LR, 200 lbs LS, a powder blue tang, a coral beauty angel and a stripped damsel, only a few coral, a leather, kenya and some shrooms. It was a LOT more but we had an issue where or basement flooded and the tank was neglected for about 4 months and I lost most everything....
Now I am rebuilding, params are good and I will be stocking it up over the next few months.....
