Fish selection

Okay I'm getting ready to add some fish to my 46 and here is my list as of right now. If anyone has any suggestions please chime in.
Small yellow tang
Flame hawkfish
Two clowns (don't know what ones yet. Want designer but don't wanna pay to much lol)
Yellow dottyback (or maybe orchid)
Six line wrasse (or a better more friendly wrasse)
And a basslet of some sort

Id skip the yellow tang, and the sixline. If you have to have a tang, go with something like a small Kole, but even that will outgrow your tank. Sixlines are just azzholes.

1 Midas Blenny
A flasher wrasse
And a small bristle tooth tang ( bristle tooth tangs grow at a smaller pace than yellow or blue tangs and eat a ton of algae )

If you are adventurous, a small Pygmy angel ( angels are prone to going after corals at some point )


You can add one more not so aggressive fish if you keep up with maintenance

I've got a late-juvenile square tail bristletooth for sale. Super fat and healthy, raised since it was a baby. Constant wood pecker action on the rocks/overflow. Very pretty fish, and stays smaller than a yellow.

Yeah they are nice Our's has all the spots in, and is juuust starting to darken up.

I agree with all of the above posts. The flash of yellow from a Midas Blenny will be great and Bristletooth tangs are awesome and great for the tank (especially a newer tank prone to algae). I also have a Flame Hawkfish and two Booyah Blackhawk Picasso's so I think we share similar tastes in fish... Maybe!
