Fixable LED???

So I just got this used LED setup whwn I just bought my 72G bowfront tank..and one of the fixtures fell and it was working perfectly fine after it fell from about 6ft, now only half of it is working.

Does anyone know if these r fixable or do I need to buy a new one, and its only the blues that are half on. The whites are full.

I believe this is an Apollo LED fixture, but not sure because no stickers on it.

Thank you in advance.

You should open the housing and see if you can see a broken solder or anything obvious. That way if you do see it you can fix it quick

When you open it use a multi meter in diode mode to test the LEDs. Hopefully only a solder point broke loose.

If it's an entire side, it's probably due to a driver gone bad in the drop or a wires from the driver. The chance of all the sames LEDS just going bad are slim to none, so it's something that allows those to run. Driver being your best bet. I've never seen the inside of them, but if they use quick connect plugs, then take the other driver and plug it in to the other leds and if they work then you isolated the problem easily.

I'm a Tech guy but have no luck with using a Multi-Meter never have had success with those.

I hope Skunkmere can help me out.

Thanks for the advice.

Everything is fixable . Guessing rattled something lose

Very true everything is fixable, we shall put that to the test with this. I will open it tonight just to see what I can find. I hope for now just the Single 120W will be suffice til I can get this other one working.

I will try this tonight and let you know.
