Flow in 28g nanocube

I have a koralina 240gph power head along with the 2 stock 266gph lifter pumps (they alternate with the wave maker). I have 2 pretty big dead spots in the rear corners. I definitely want to be successful with SPS and while these dead spots are not affecting the aesthetics of the tank, I think they may be an indicator of a need for additional flow (yes/no?). So, do I:
1. Buy an mp10. I love a good gadget, so i am sort of interested in one based on all of the chatter about it and the fact that they are freaking cool, but I also think it might be a bit of overkill (and I don't want a mini haboob on my hands).
2. add another korilina just like I have.
3. upgrade one or both of the stock acella pumps (is this even done?).
4. get one of those pop together redirector things (I can't say I like the way those look, but the stock duckbills are pretty limited in their range of movement)
5. Some other brilliant thing you will tell me.

With intention of keeping a successful sps tank, I'll suggest the mp10 for its compact footprint and superior random flow that a simple wavemaker timer is not able to reproduce. No point replacing the return pumps, all they are doing is cycling water thru the filter chambers.
 
Mp10 is the way to go! I just got one for my new biocube 29 and it is just sweet! The random flow and spread is just something else to my old koralia's and tunzes. I do not really recommend upgrading the stock returns as they are already moving a great deal of water through the back. Good luck, Wiz.
 
mp10 first imo if you wanna go cheaper route get flow accelerators they have them with the blades and the rotating ones they will take up some space for sure
 
Thanks. I was able to haggle a new MP10 on ebay for 200! After everything I read, it just seemed necessary:). I had never heard of offering a lower price for a "buy it now item" (been a while since a hobby took me to ole ebay), but i read about it in a forum somewhere (may have been CR, but I haven't been able to find the thread to thank the guy for the tip!). I am very excited to get the MP10 going which will make me more comfortable running both return pumps constantly.

After many years of various pumps and wavemakers I finally dropped the coin on an mp40 and couldn't be happier. Well, technically I'd be a lot happier if it didn't cost so much, but oh well, at least I can stop buying cheaper ph's trying to get the "right" flow.
