Fluconazole - Bryopsis Killer?

Anybody see this latest treatment method for bryopsis?

Didn't see any other threads on it, I just ordered some. I'm fed up with this bryopsis war, it's been almost a year now and i'm tired of battling back and forth with it. I'm at the point where i'm willing to risk nuking it. It's good timing too as I currently have a qt tank setup.

Been seeing a lot of threads with success. Don't know the long term with it. I'd do a healthy water change soon as you seem to get it out.

Do you have any of the medication left?

Lol i had asked on day one of hed have left overs.
He said he plans to keep it in case.

Im going to order from where he linked. I was sure it would work as its been proven. Glad a local also tried it.

I only have 3 patches of it. But its annoying to look at

So now we can call bryopsis the yeast infection of the saltwater world lmfao glad it worked for ya that crap is the worst

+1 this stuff absolutely works -- I'm on day 9 myself and bryopsis is around 85% gone with no stress to anything else -- its awesome!

I do have medication left, though plan on using it for a 2nd treatment or hanging onto it in case of a future outbreak.

I left the skimmer cup off until Day 10 and removed all media from my BRS dual reactor but continued to run it.

That's all I did, no manual removal of the algae at all, I haven't even been home.

Tonight I have a number of fish I'm adding to the tank that have been in QT for 3 weeks now, I haven't made any fish additions in a couple years now;
Lawnmower Blenny
Tail Spot Blenny
Purple Firefish
Snowflake clown
Spotted foxface
Bangai Cardinal

I'm also going to add some phosguard to one my reactors tonight.

I have various snails, crabs, shrimps, feather dusters, urchins, and chaeto in my tank and all seem to be unaffected by the treatment, along with the fish.

Any update on this? Everything in the tank still happy?

I'm completely algae free and I have yet to even do a water change since dosing, I'm going to do one this week mainly just to replenish trace elements.

Coraline algae/chaeto is unaffected., no adverse affects observed on anything. The tank looks the best it has since the algae started almost a year ago. Looking forward to growing some SPS colonies again, all my large one's were choked out by algae.

Only negative thing is i'm having a hell of a time getting the lawnmower blenny to eat prepared foods, afraid he may starve in the next week or two. I'm overfeeding a variety of foods trying to get him to eat, or to at least encourage some algae growth...

Last time I tested for Nitrate and Phosphate was 2/26/17 and got 0 and .08 respectively. Corals are starting to color up better as well, especially my acans, they pretty much lost all color when I was trying to killing the algae via nutrient reduction. They still aren't 100% though, I accidentally left my dosing pump unplugged the other day when I was doing some wire management and my Ca/Alk dropped.

I'll work on getting some pics soon if anyone's interested.

I had phenomenal success with this as well -- in fact the only words you can use would be "magic bullet." It melted 99.9% of my bryopsis away with no stress to anything else (shrimp crabs snails sps corals fish etc.) If you have bryopsis this is your answer. If you're so inclined there are huge, hundred-page-long threads to read on other forums for your research, but bottom line IT WORKS.

I have a couple strands coming back now after 2 weeks -- maybe another dose to kill it off. Frankly, even if I have to go through the treatment every couple months I see that as no big deal.
