Fluval Edge convert

Quick question about red mushrooms...this seems so stupid to type...do they somehow excrete their waste? A few of mine have shot out some bright white stuff out of their mouths. I will try to grab a pic now

I have a 2.5 pico with a PAR38 and it works awesome and you can basically grow anything you want. in ur fluval edge that would be the perfect light..
 
Ok here's the pic. (Don't knock the lighting:sad: ...rattyE36 and JVC are currently assembling the heat sink LED kit that m.miller1547 was selling--will be installed tonight)
 
oh ok.. The lighting should be good then.. Regarding ur mushrooms. Did you just introdce them to ur tank or move them around.. I knw mine you usually does that when I do.. Not sure though if that's waste.
 
First thing...I totally wrote the thing about the lights before I saw your comment! Wasn't accusing! Just a coincidence!

As far as the mushrooms...nope, they've been in that spot for over a month..never moved. The white part pictured has been like that for about an hour but a few others popped a little off and it floated away...which made me think it was...ya know!
 
i dun think thats poop, or extra slime cleaning itself. mine spit their guts out if something sits on them or irritates them, but it looks nothing like yur pic n their guts dun pop off.
 
I FINALLY have good lighting!! Here's the first pics of my tank with the nano tuners LED light fixture for the fluval edge! My corals are all really scared because we just installed it so they're not open...
 
Thanks guys--I hope that once the corals open I can take a better picture...also turn up the brightness eventually as well.
 
Yea right now its so dark my purple fire fish thinks its nighttime and is hiding in the cave...almost might be scared of the new lights
