Frag Kit

Hey reefers!

So I wasn’t sure where to post this, but thought here made the most sense. Haha. Anyway, I am wanting to get a frag kit. I have a bunch of leather corals and they are now taking over my tank, so it would mainly be for that. My question is, would a dissection kit work? They are much cheaper than an actual coral frag kit but I wasn’t sure if they would work as well. Have it works fine..I got it mainly to frag my candy canes and to cut off frags from plugs to glue them to my rocks and haven't had a problem yet

I just use razor blades or an Xacto knife for fragging. If I need to cut something thick I use diagonal pliers. I'm too cheap to buy one of those fancy kits. lol
