I have a domm question since I have a bunch of empy biocubes
Do I need ro/di water for freshwater with live plants tank?

Nah, unless you're trying to target specific parameters. I find it more work to use RO/DI and re-mineralize+fertilize. Dechlorinate tap water is fine.

Actually this would work fine. But do recall waste water will be very high in TDS which is good for most plants but not for sensitive plants.
