fungus treatment

Hey guys and gals,

Need advice on fungus. My blue throat trigger has (what it looks to me) as some fungus on his dorsal fin. He's active and eats like a hog so it doesn't seem to affect him too much. It has not grown in size in the last two weeks. Don't have a very good camera and the dang thing has adhd and won't hold still for a shot. Here's the best I could do.

Anyone treat fungus straight in their display tank? Any advice...having a heck of a time trying to catch this guy.

Thanks

I really have no idea about illnesses but im hoping someone could chime in to help you. My only suggestion is to research about a hospital tank or a qt tank if by chance you can manage to catch this guy. Good luck with it.

Not sure on treatment but that will go away on it's own soon. Nothing to worry about like ich or velvet.

Melefix will get rid of it. But if it just that spot usually goes away on its own as long as good water quality. Or u can catch and pull it off gently
