Gfo and bio pellets

I do run some gfo in my tank and I'm planning add a bio reactor.My question is ok to run both or just bio pellets.looking for opinions...

What are you trying to do? Generally, bio pellets take care of nitrates and GFO takes care of PO4. On that note, I run both, and have for a long time.

Don't get the brown pellets that advertise higher phosphate removal. The brown dust goes everywhere.
