gfo recommendations

So now I am thinking of adding a GFO to my reef. Which unit do you guys recommend I was looking at a couple on BRS and I found the single unit supports about 120 gallons. He also mentioned to do 50/50 with gfo and carbon and if that's the case, it will support about 60 gallons. I was looking into the dual too and was thinking maybe gfo in one and carbon in the other? what do you guys think?

i used the brs dual reactor with gfo in one and the carbon in the other super simple came with pump just needed media and was good to go i liked it personally

I only run 1 cup for my display which is 125 with a 80 gallon sump. I like the high capacity from brs it tumbles better and rinses a lot easier.

And I currently have lunacris' old brs dual reactor, and I really like it. Super easy to setup and use and maintenance.

you could run sponges inside the cartridge and put the carbon on top and suck it out with a shop vac if you wanted but that is a lot of work.

I think I might just get the single unit to keep things easier. Since I am new to this, I don't want to be running into any problems by mixing them just yet.

I run a dual reactor on most of my clients tanks. I agree that each cartridge should only hold one of the two. I wouldn't mix them together.
