Hanna DKH alkalinity checker

So for the Hanna dkh alkalinity checker the instructions say to fill reagent into the tip on the syringe to 1.0 ML, so obviously the 1.0ML is located at the bottom of the syringe, so where exactly is the bottom of the plunger of the syringe suppose to be at 0.1ML or the top black line not marked on the syringe above 0.1 ML????

The black of the plunger needs to reach the .1

The amount of fluid in the tip that's supposed to be used for the syringe makes up for the lost amount in the syringe. That's why it starts at .8 because suction starts at the tip used

this is correct ..

regardless of what point what syringe you are talking about ..

what ever is at 1.0 ml mark when you dip it in the liquid and extract should be at the 0ML mark for the volume in the syringe to be 1ml .. when you pull back the plunger thats the amount of air being replaced from 1.0 ML to 0 ml mark.

you read the marking where the bottom of the plunger is. In this example, 0.65 mL of titrant was used.
